Lithium batteries used in solar street lights include lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) and ternary lithium batteries, each with its own unique characteristics. Ternary lithium batteries have a voltage of 3.7V and perform well in low-temperature environments, with normal charging and discharging at -20°C. However, they may experience abnormalities when the ambient temperature exceeds 45°C. Therefore, we recommend ternary lithium batteries for use in cold regions of the Northern Hemisphere.。
Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries are recommended for use in high-temperature environments, such as those along the equator. They are stable and safe, withstanding temperatures up to 70°C. Therefore, we recommend LiFePO4 batteries for solar street lights based on the country or region of use.
Lithium batteries for solar street lights come in both cylindrical and rectangular formats. Commonly used are cylindrical 32650 LiFePO4 batteries and rectangular ternary lithium batteries. Each 32650 LiFePO4 cell has a voltage of 3.2V and 5Ah, and can be connected in series to create capacities of 12.8V, 50Ah, or even higher. Lithium battery solar street lights can be made into split solar street lights and integrated solar street lights. The power size can be made according to customer needs to meet different lighting requirements.
