The LED chip's filament can be made of iron, copper, alloy, or gold, with copper being the most commonly used. The aluminum base plate for the LED lamps uses a 2mm thickness. This heat dissipation is achieved by combining it with the housing and thermally conductive silicone paste.

The housing also comes in a variety of materials, with die-cast aluminum being a common heat dissipation material. However, the thickness and weight of the housing vary, and many people use these factors to assess street light quality.
